Small groups make a difference

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

Margaret Mead, American anthropologist, 1901-1978

Around the world, there are many groups of committed people who are making sure wildlife have the space they need to survive and thrive.  Please find a group to join so that you can be a part of their journey to help wildlife. If we all pull together, we can really power through change for the better.  The more of us who help create, protect, care for and save existing and new spaces, the better, especially where people power and pressure is needed to bring about change by persuading governments and businesses that it's the right way forward.   We hope this blog gives you lots of ideas of ways you can do just that.  Thank you for coming to visit.

SUCCESS: Derbyshire Wildlife Trust

This appeal shows what people can do when they come together for nature, and how important it is to get involved and take action.   Thanks to people coming together,  Derbyshire Wildlife Trust have been able to purchase 83 acres of farmland, which will create a new nature reserve that will provide new territory for wildlife, helping animals and plants to thrive.  People can enjoy it too.  Find out more here.
