How to care?
We can all do our bit to move things forward for the better, even if we just take small steps to consider our own actions and put into action a willingness to care with enough passion & meaning that we make changes in our own lives.
So how to care for our earth so that we can all enjoy better wellbeing?
- Care with thought for others, whether we know them or not, may be one way to move forwards.
- Care with regard to the actions we take and how they affect others, animals and human
- Care with the lifestyles we lead and a review of what really does matter to us and what will give us the best sense of happiness & wellbeing
- Care with our own time & resources so as not to waste any
- Care with enough passion to step and be big enough to clear up the mess other humans leave behind, so that others who are dependent on us, won't suffer (e.g. picking up rubbish that the ignorant drop, so that wildlife won't eat it if it's left)
- Care with enough love to know what is right for animals - a clean place to live, free from rubbish & harm caused by people, respect for what they contribute to our planet and a willingness to find out how important they are
- Care with a willingness to contribute and protect those areas where animals live, such as rainforests, wetlands, woodlands, hedgerows, ponds, rivers, seas, lakes, skies, forests, heathlands, meadow, parks, & urban areas
- Care with enough concern that we tear our children away from technology and a relationship with things to ensure they have more of a relationship with humans & animals, than the computer, ipod & mobile phone. They are the future guardians of this planet. We need to teach them how to care with passion & love, understanding & sensitivity, knowledge & belief that they can contribute to making this world a better place
- Care with enough drive to kick up a stink when the short-minded & self-centered aim to enjoy fast wins at the expense of others.
We can all care and make a difference in our own way. What matters is that we take action from today.
